Anchorage House and Cottages is located in Hubbards, Nova Scotia on the beautiful South Shore Lighthouse

Route. Only 35 minutes from Halifax, Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg, and only 40 minutes from the Annapolis Valley.

Our property provides a beautiful setting to relax and stay. While you relax, the children can enjoy our onsite playground or the In-ground heated pool. Enjoy the view from our private dock of scenic Hubbards Cove and the many boats which take shelter in its quiet waters or perhaps you would prefer to experience the cove from one of our row boats.

Walk to Hubbards Beach and awaken your senses to the salt air, the ocean waves and the sand beneath your feet.

Our village-like setting offers all the amenities to enjoy a night, a week or even longer. Great for family reunions or retreats, accommodating up to 70 people. Come, relax, and enjoy your stay in a cottage or room in the charming 19th Century home.

Our oceanfront cottages offer spacious decks, TV/DVD, weekly linen service and, fully equipped kitchens.  We now have an Executive Chef who prepares food in advance & delivers to the individual cottages (24 hr notice).Menus are constantly changing..

Concierge services available in your cottage includes replacement of propane for the BBQ and additional wood for the fireplace (free of charge). 

We would also be pleased to arrange restaurant reservations, limousine services, car rental, as well as various winery, sight-seeing, bicycle, kayak, sailing and water tours; at your convenience. Advance notice is required. 

The village of Hubbard's Cove is only minutes away which is home to a post office, cafe, shopping mall, farmer's market and fisherman's docks.

Fully renovated in 2007, you will find our lodgings well-appointed with comfortable furnishings as well as tastefully decorated with special attention to upscale details.

Harbour View Cottages and Guest Rooms

             

 

The Hubbards Campground was originally created in 1958 by the late Roy Harnish. Built with prime location, the Hubbards Campground and Cottages have expanded to be the ideal country get-away within a short drive of Halifax. Campground facilities include a canteen, modern Laundromat, horse shoe pits, pay phones, video arcade and lobster suppers, all a short walk from the astonishing private Hubbards beach.





All Cabins are located on water, or within walking distance of the beach. Each is equipped with a shower, fridge, fireplace and full furnishing. Visit Hubbards beach and Campground for a wonderful stay in St. Margaret’s Bays best kept secret.

The cottage is surrounded by trees on overlooking St. Margaret's Bay and is an ideal accommodation for one or two couples.  The cottage features a spacious fully equipped kitchen with centre island, two modern bedrooms and a 3 pc bath.

The Cottage is rented on a weekly basis. There may be occasions when we have spot availability by the day. Please call with us for availability.
