Festivals & Events - South Shore, St. Margaret's Bay 

Our special events will interest and entertain you. Community events occur all year long, so you're bound to luck into several of these during your visit: craft shows, ceilidhs, art exhibits, dances, chowder festivals, concerts, fireworks, fairs, bazaars, variety shows, festivals, auctions, lobsterfests, carnivals, farmer's markets, quilt and rug shows, rowing races, suppers, parades, and more.Whatever your pleasure, just join in the fun!

Visitor Information Centre staff will be pleased to provide you with details of current activities and assist you in planning your visit to our wonderful destination area. Our Tantallon Visitor Services Centre is located on the Atlantic Superstore property on the corner of Hwy 3 and Route 333.

Hubbard's Farmers' Market
May 8 - Oct 30, 2010 , The Hubbards Barn

The Hubbard's Farmers' Market at The Hubbards Barn houses a variety of local farmers, bakers, artists, and artisans offering fresh produce, plants, jams/jellies, fresh seafood, homemade cheese, jewellery, and much more.  There is also live musical entertainment.

Location: The Hubbards Barn, 57 Hwy 3 in Hubbards

Time: Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm

Admission is FREE

Suzanne Day & Paulette Melanson - Two Friends and a Bottle of Wine 2010


Paulette and Suzanne are two artists from Boutiliers Point who have been meeting weekly since 2005 to paint and share a bottle of wine.  They are returning for a second summer to the Trellis Cafe to present their latest works, inspired by local scenery.

The Last World Tour - a green comedy

There is nothing funny about Global warming.  However, people are doing the strangest things as they work toward sustainability!  Come and take a theatrical journey from Big Bang Theory to Geo-engineering in 75 musical minutes.  This brand new musical comedy is locally grown and produced.

Hubbards Barn Movie Night - "Food Inc."

For a great night out, head to The Hubbards Barn and watch a movie, complete with hot organic popcorn and cold drinks.

Location: The Hubbards Barn, 57 Hwy 3 in Hubbards

Time: Doors open at 7:00pm; Movie starts at 7:30pm

Cost: $7 per adult; $5 per youth and senior (tickets available at the door)

Movies are shown using high quality digital projection on an indoor 9'x12' screen.  Seating is provided.

20th Annual Atlantic Fringe Festival

The Fringe is an artist-driven, accessible and affordable festival.  A free market for artists - unjuried, uncensored, with an anyone-can-put-on-a-show/anything-goes attitude.

Saturday Night Dances at The Shore Club

Torpedo Ray's Treasure Hunt Dive
